A fierce exchange of gunfire broke out on Sunday between the Crime Control Department (CCD) Police and suspected drug traffickers in the suburban locality of Peer Nara, on the outskirts of Talagang, leaving one proclaimed offender dead while another escaped under the cover of darkness.
